Know which nutrients your food covers, and which it’s missing.
NutriTelli turns what you eat into a clear picture of your vitamins and minerals, grouped by what they do for you, from energy to sleep. Then it explains why each one matters.
Build a day and watch it fill in
Tap foods to add them.
Rough example values for one adult. The app sets targets from your age, sex and life stage.
How it works
-
Log what you eat
Search for a food, scan a barcode, or take a photo of your plate. Add it to breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack.
-
See your coverage
A daily score, 13 body-need groups, and every nutrient against its target. Targets follow US and Canadian dietary reference intakes for your age, sex and life stage.
-
Learn why it matters
Tap any nutrient to see what it does, which foods have it, and what helps your body absorb it, with links to sources like the NIH. A coach picks one thing to focus on at a time.
-
Adjust over time
Get food ideas aimed at your gaps. Each week, a review shows what improved and which nutrients keep coming up short.
What we’re careful about
- A low number isn’t a diagnosis
- It means the food you logged didn’t reach a target. It doesn’t mean you’re deficient. Talk to a doctor about that.
- More isn’t always better
- Sodium, saturated fat and cholesterol are shown as limits to stay under, not goals to hit.
- Gaps in the data are shown
- Some foods don’t list every nutrient. Breakdowns say so instead of guessing.
- Groups explain, they don’t measure
- “Sleep & Wind-Down” shows the nutrients linked to sleep. It can’t tell you how well you slept.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes, the alpha is free. We’ll say clearly before anything changes.
Which phones does it work on?
Android testers get an install link. On iPhone, we have to register each device before you can install, so it can take a little longer.
Where does the nutrient data come from?
Food searches and photo estimates use the Edamam food database, with USDA data as well. Barcode lookups use Open Food Facts. Photo estimates are a starting point, so check them before you add them.
Can I get my data out, or delete it?
Yes. In Settings you can export everything you’ve logged, or delete your account and its data. See the privacy policy.
Is this medical advice?
No. NutriTelli gives general nutrition information. If you’re pregnant, managing a condition or taking medication, check with a doctor or dietitian.
